Summary

Description
English: James Brooke's favoured candidate for Sultan in Brunei was in political danger from Pangeran Usop. This same Pangeran Usop had two British subjects (lascars from the Viscount Melbourne or the Sultana) as slaves. Thomas John Cochrane ordered the Vixen to fire on his house after Pangeran Usop had fired a shot.
