English: A signing ceremony was held for documents related to Japan-US space cooperation and the International Space Station program, with Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, Minister of State for Space Policy Aiko Shimajiri, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Hiroshi Hase, and US Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy deciding that Japan will participate in the extension of ISS operations until 2024.
